Professor Amarnath Bhide, recognized leader in obstetrics and fetal medicine, will be delivering the talk. With credentials that include his recent appointment as Chief Editor of Acta Obs et Gyn Scandinavica, Professor Bhide brings will bring expertise to the discussion.

Amarnath Bhide MD, PhD, FRCOG, Professor of Fetal Medicine & Obstetrics, St Georges University Hospital London

 
Amarnath Bhide is Professor and Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics. He was appointed Chief Editor of Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavic in 2024. He is also a member of the editorial board for two other journals. After qualifying in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Mumbai, India, he obtained sub-speciality accreditation in Maternal and Fetal Medicine from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. His research interests include placental physiology and pathology, hypoxaemia and fetal cardiac function and induction of labour. His clinical interests are in prenatal diagnosis and therapy, multiple pregnancy and problems with fetal growth. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters. He has co-authored four books.
